Organizer

The Organizer offers quick access to all elements of a Product. To do that, it has three sections: Tracing, Bookmarked and Filter.

Tracing visualizes tracing between Requirements, Test Cases and Defects.

Bookmarked shows the elements that have been manually bookmarked by the user.

Filter displays all elements returned by the currently active filter.

The Organizer is opened by clicking on the arrow icon on the left side of the specification screen. 

Information You must have a user role within the Product to be able to open the Organizer.

Tracing


The view "Tracing" in the Organizer displays all elements of a Product, i.e., Epics, (Free) User Stories, (Free) Test Cases, and Defects, hierarchically within their relationship and in alphabetical order.

When you select an element in the Tree View, options for handling this element are displayed. You can add new elements, duplicate, or delete elements.

Which options are available depends on the element type. Defects can only be deleted.

Epic: Add elements of the type Epic, Epic Template, or User Story by clicking the (+) icon.

User Story: Add elements of the type User Story, User Story Template, Test Case, or Test Case Template by clicking the (+) icon.

Test Case: Add elements of the type Test Case or Test Case Template by clicking the (+) icon. You can select between three types of Test Cases here.

If you duplicate an element by clicking on the duplicate button, a new element is generated. The new element has the same name as the original one with the prefix "copy".
Important: You only duplicate the selected element, not its children.

When you delete an element, the element and, if it has sub-elements, all its children are deleted and removed from the product.

Move Test Cases and User Stories by drag and drop. A marker shows the positions to which you can move the selected object.

Drag and drop options: 
  • Drag and drop (Free) User Stories only under Epics or Free User Stories folder. 
  • Drag and drop (Free) Test Cases only under (Free) User Stories or Free Test Cases folder. 
  • Drag and drop Epics and Defects to the folder template.
  • Drag and drop Epic Templates to the Epic folder.
  • You cannot drag and drop Defect Templates, Free Test Cases Folder, and Free User Stories folder.

Bookmarked


The Bookmarked tab presents a list of elements that have been manually bookmarked by the current user.

Users can bookmark an element by clicking the bookmark icon located in the top left corner in each element tile.

When selected, the bookmark icon will turn green and the element will instantly be shown in the Bookmarked tab.

Each user can bookmark up to 100 favorite elements per product.

Filter

The Filter tab displays all elements returned by the currently active filter.

The elements listed in the Filter Tab are the same which are displayed as tiles in the Specification Screen, but the list is permanently accessible while navigating the product's elements.
